Our caregivers will work with your loved one to support their daily needs and aide them in completing any activities of daily living. At Annie’s Haven, we understand the signs, stages, and challenges that accompany ailments such as Dementia and will provide the patience and tender care required to ensure your loved one feels at home.
Hospice is a special form of care for people who have been diagnosed with terminal illnesses. The goal of Hospice care is to provide your love one with physical, emotional and spiritual comfort Having a loved one who requires Hospice can be both extremely shocking and riveting to both the victim and the ones who care about them. Often requiring a lot of care and compassion we understand what it takes to help your love one and we are here with you every step of the way. At Annie’s Haven we will coordinate Hospice Services thru a Licensed agency under the supervision of a Hospice doctor.
At Annie’s Haven we provide at least 3 balanced and nutritious home cooked meals that are served every day in our formal dining room with in between meal snacks. Our staff makes sure that all the food being served is safe and clean. Special dietary needs including low-sodium, low sugar or low-fat when ordered by MD.
Transportation arrangements are provided for medical, dental and eye appointments, emergency situation and outside activities.
Social interaction and recreational activities are an important way of ensuring the well-being of our residents. Tailored to the individual tastes of our residents, activities may include games, movies, exercises, music, sing-along , gardening, Puzzles, card games, table games, books or magazines reading. We also occasionally hold a small gathering in our home for various celebrations of holidays (i.e., thanksgiving, Christmas) and life’s milestones (i.e., birthdays and anniversaries).
